Today marks the end of my 38 Day Challenge and I am pretty proud of my results. I’m going to go over how I did on each part of my challenge and then my overall results.
Water- I did great with drinking my gallon of water a day. I am on like Day 74 in a row of drinking a gallon of water a day, so I definitely hit that everyday.
Exercise/Walking- I also did great here. I lifted weights, walked more than I have in who knows how long, built up my core, etc. I am very happy with how I did with my exercise.
Tracking Calories- I tracked everyday, but that does not mean that it was always in my calorie budget. I can 100% do some improvements here and I plan to. But upping my protein has helped tremendously and it’s something I will continue to do. I will talk more about this in my blog tomorrow, but I definitely can improve my nutrition and I want my focus to be here.
Blogging- Ha. Not great. I failed here. It’s really difficult to do everyday when there’s life and a toddler and the fact that I really am not that interesting!
Overall, I am proud of myself and I am proud of knowing what I want to improve.
Alright, here are some results! I just want to preface with how I do my measurements. I use a measuring tape and measure the following places on my body:
-Neck
-Across the front of my boobs
-Right under my boobs (basically where a bra strap would go)
-The smaller part of my waist (where I naturally go in)
-The largest part of my belly
-The largest part of my lower belly (or Fupa… yay for having a baby!)
-My left and right thighs (I measure from my knee to the top of my thigh and then use the middle point as where I do the measurement)
-My left and right calfs (I measure from my ankle to my knee and then use the middle point as where I do the measurement)
-My left and right upper arm
Sooo…. I lost 10.2 pounds and 17 inches! I am incredibly proud of that!
Other than weight and inches I have:
-greatly improved my strength and have upped my weights and need to increase them again
-went from a 15 second plank to a 60 second plank
-taken 5 minutes and 30 seconds off of my mile
-improved my core strength (again, yay for having a baby!)
This is truly the strongest I have been since I was pregnant which is over two years ago. I am very proud of my results and I can’t wait to keep going.
I have big plans for April and will share those plans in tomorrow’s blog!
Woohoo, I am so happy for you! You are doing fantastic 😀💪👍❤.
