Recap Day 16

Just a quick post today because I want some time to read and just relax.

I got back to it yesterday and I am very proud of myself. I counted my calories and drank my gallon of water. I also blogged.

I did my two workouts. I started the Couch 2 5K program and I did lower body weightlifting. My legs are SORE today. And that running workout was a lot more challenging than I thought– which is a good thing. I am dumb though and I thought the program was everyday and I just didn’t know how I was going to get through it. But I actually looked and it’s 3 days a week. Which is perfect! So my new workout schedule will be:

Monday: Upper body weightlifting & walking

Tuesday: Couch 2 5K & walking

Wednesday: Lower body weightlifting & walking

Thursday: Couch 2 5K & walking

Friday: Full body weightlifting & walking

Saturday: Yoga/intense stretching & walking

Sunday: Couch 2 5K & walking

When I walk, I can do it on the treadmill or outside and it has to be for at least 30 minutes. Those are the only rules.

I did Day 2 of Couch 2 5K today, so I am going to do Day 3 tomorrow (which will complete Week 1, so that I can start it on Sunday to make a full week spacing it out).

That’s really it. I’m feeling good, sore, and I’m happy my mindset is back on it again. Oh, and I’m doing great being gluten free 🙂
